The 27th of May.

One kitten left!

Tried getting up early this morning to do the core exercises, but I think doing them at that time is a bad idea because the oxygen has not got going yet.

This morning was incredibly depressing because Nigel Farage is going around screaming about how he's won and we must Brexit immediately. This is despite only 5 million people voting for his party, compared to the 17.4 million he still claims want to leave, even without a deal. And the people who say the predictions and effects we've seen of no deal "scaremongering" are terrifying because how do you communicate with people who refuse to engage with facts?

So it was quite the relief when it was time for Frankie's adoption and I could stop thinking about all that. She was very good and got in the carrier on her own, so once they'd left, I stayed in the back room with Fabio to make sure he was okay. At first, he ran around looking for her and doing some screams, so I gave him a little bit of food, then he came to sit with me and went to sleep. Bless.

The 28th of May.

Well, any plans I had for my day went straight out the window when I heard Fabio this morning. He's suddenly realised that he is on his own and he is really sad and lonely, so when he hears us he is full of screams. I've had to spend my whole day (apart from eating time) sitting with him so he does not howl the place down. We have watched a lot of Lucifer! I am about three episodes away from the end of season three now. I had planned on putting together my crocheted Hedwig, but that had to wait. Hopefully, he won't be on his own for long, because if the chap Deb (homing officer) has been talking to doesn't come up with a viable option by the end of today, he's going to live with Olivia and Michael who adopted Fabian. To be honest, that is what I am hoping for.

I'm writing this at The Glee, where I'm going to see Darren Harriott record a radio show. I asked at the bar what cider they had in bottles (easier to carry when driving the chair), and they only had fruity ones. I thought they can't be that bad, and opted for "mixed berries". It turns out that it tastes like the time I drank neat Ribena. If I finished it I think I might feel rather sick, so that's a fiver I've wasted. Sigh.
