The 12th & 13th; I am full of yawns.

The 12th of September.

I am full of yawns. As soon as the day started. I knew I wasn't going to be able to go to Rachel Parris at The Glee tonight. A shame, because I had been really looking forward to it, but it will be more sensible for me to not go, because we are going back down to London to watch Christine's half marathon this weekend and then I'm in London again on Monday for an Anthony Nolan thing. If I am already trashed before we even get to this weekend, the risk of a repeat of last September, when being busy made me ill for a month, is high.

This morning, we got up, packed and checked out, then set off down the road to The Diner, where we were going to have breakfast. However, we were going to be really early, as in it wouldn't be open, so we stopped and had some nice coffee in Camden Market. Discovered there was a Crosstown Doughnuts there, so I got a cinnamon sugar doughnut, then we finished our journey to The Diner where we both had pancakes - mine chocolate chip, hers banana with butterscotch sauce.

It was a straight shot down the road to Euston, so we made our way there for me to get my train home and Christine got the tube. I picked up a mocha for the caffeine and sugar combo, then spent my journey writing about yesterday.

Back home, I changed into cosy clothes, caught up on Bake Off, then curled up with Rufus to watch House and post my Janelle videos. I'm so tired.

The 13th of September.

Sleep in my bed with my pillow was so good. Sometimes, when I am exhausted, my brain refuses to let me sleep, but thankfully I slept all night and I didn't even have Zopiclone. Again tonight, please.

This morning, I didn't do a great deal, except go and sit with Rufus because he kept crying. I got an email from Hermes saying my replacement wool was coming between 11 and 1, but by the time we had to go to the chiro at 11.45, it had yet to arrive.

The bit of my back that I had been twisting was a bit better today, but the night in the hotel had really fucked up my neck. We should have looked to see if there was a pillow menu.

After lunch, I repainted my nails, because they had chipped several times while I was away. Then I started working on the jumper with the new wool. I tried several hooks to test the gauge, and have decided to use one that will be on the larger side, but if I use a smaller one, the jumper will be quite stuff and uncomfortable. I really hope, after all this, it works.
