Documenting not dying since October 2013.

The 22nd & 23rd; I'm getting better.

 The 22nd of October.

Apologies at the beginning because it hasn't been an interesting day. It is not likely to be a particularly interesting week, as the only thing in my diary is my next blood test.

This morning, I wrote up a blog post, then I finished off the crochet project I had planned before I got ill. Annoyingly, the wool I have ordered from Amazon is back in stock on my usual website, but it's already been dispatched and it won't arrive until the 31st. Harrumph. I have instead been working on the third and final blanket for Alison, while watching House, and listening to the new episode of My Dad Wrote A Porno after Sadie texted me demanding I do so. I'm glad I didn't have this one in my ears when I was in the haematology unit having my blood. I am over halfway through the blanket already, so I'm going to have to find something else to do until my jumper wool arrives.

The 23rd of October.

More of the same, I'm afraid. Well, I haven't been crocheting all day - most of this morning was spent looking at different wool websites, so I can get what I need for the various projects I want to do for Christmas. I do hate it when stuff is out of stock. Sigh.

Once that was done, it was back to my blanket. I'm on the last round of the penultimate colour, so that'll be finished relatively soon.

Denise brought me some resistance bands when she came round last week, so I got the light one out and had a couple of sessions of "leg presses" - twenty on each leg each time. I would like to be able to climb the stairs properly again. I'm getting better - I'm doing the last few, two feet at a time. And I'm walking and sitting much more normally. I can even pull my chair in at the dinner table!
