The 28th & 29th; The jumper is finished!

 The 28th of October.

I am happy to say that my confusion and stress yesterday was at least worth it, because for most of today, I have been following my written version of the pattern and it has all gone as it should.

I got a blog post done first thing, then got the jumper out. I am determined to at least finish the yoke today - I've only got three rounds left. To entertain the other half of my brain, I watched Elis and John on Sunday Brunch (who I'm supposed to see at the Glee on Tuesday; I'm just hoping my body is up to it) then after lunch, some House, and Oz the Great and Powerful. It happened to be on, so I gave it a chance. It is not a good film. I don't know what Daddy has been watching in the back room, but it is deafening.

The 29th of October.

The jumper is finished! And, I am pleased to say, nice and warm. It does call for a vest to be tucked into the jeans underneath, as it's a little bit shorter than perhaps I would like, but that can't be helped now and it looks fine so I'm not going to stress about it. I don't think I'll be making another one, certainly not for some time.

What to do next? I've picked something fairly simple, a scarf that I'll give to Grandma for Christmas. I can put that on here, I don't think any of you will tell her.

After lunch, I took some photos of my jumper and worked on the scarf, then Daddy took me to the chiro. I walked in much better than last time (obviously - I didn't need the frame today), but when I went to lie on my front on the bed, I hadn't got enough breath back so I had to sit up again. Once I was alright, she didn't find much wrong with me! A bit of tension up my right side, a bit of stretching and crunching required, but my neck joints didn't need any treatment, just a bit of work on the muscles because I tense them when I'm trying to catch my breath. I really hope it gets better than this.
