The 2nd & 3rd; Too cold to function.

The 2nd of March. Snow has been constant since lunchtime. Too cold to function.

Obviously, I have not been anywhere. I wrote up a blog post, and then I got started on Nish's boxer dog while binge-watching Bones. Thirty episodes had built up on the box so it was my duty to make a dent.

Christine has come home because we're supposed to be going to the indoor athletics tomorrow, although I'm not sure what the weather will have to say about that. I do not feel particularly enthusiastic about braving the cold. Anyway - she got to Euston 45 minutes early because there were no problems then, and was able to get on any train to get here. This proved useful and getting here from Birmingham was tricky because of local trains, but she eventually arrived about one. She then spent the afternoon at the hairdresser while Daddy watched a film with Mac, and I sat here and watched the snow fall.

The 3rd of March.

I did not go to the athletics. Multiple reasons - didn't fancy breathing the freezing air; driving was going to be perilous, so the train was the chosen transport and I couldn't have got to the arena in my chair in the snow.

I had a very cosy morning, with some dodgy socks and a fuzzy jumper on, thermals underneath. I made the ears and tail of the boxer dog, and made sure Mac was happy and not too cold.

Mommy and Christine got back just before three, and we watched Masterchef while I put the dog together. Her face has been fiddly as fuck to make because of loads of colour changes, so I won't be making another one.

They brought back a pizza some, so tonight we are having home-made pizzas for dinner for the first time. It is an experiment.
